  Each SenateSense platform is customizable by you as the owner and administrator of the platform. It can be open or closed - its up to you and you can move it from one state to the other. You can enable sharing (see the sharing buttons on the top right) or you can turn it off - all up to you and ultimately about what you use your SenateSense FOR. One thing I often recommend is that you start with an open senate - building community is very very hard and the less friction the better. A closed senate is for a well established group that all have a good reason to come into the space. An open senate is much better for marketing and distributing thought leadership.
